Bob McMillan has recently been to Brandenburg and has posted a short report and some nice photos on his website:  http://www.skye-birds.com

He recorded 85 species, including a Caspian Gull.  There is a small breeding population in the south of Brandenburg. They breed on islands in the former open cast mining sites. In winter they are most often seen on the Baltic coast.
